What is your refund policy?
For students completing the classroom program, refunds will be prorated based on the number of classes completed.
For students who have completed our classroom program and received the blue slip, students or parents who decide to complete the program elsewhere will be refunded $75 of the program fee, prorated based on the number of behind-the-wheel lessons completed, provided the program was paid in full. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and be accompanied by proof of enrollment with another driving school. When the contract expires, no refunds are available.
Do you charge a cancellation fee?
If you fail to show up for a lesson or do not cancel or reschedule on our website at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a $60 fee.
What safety equipment are your cars equipped with?
Our vehicles have safety features (passenger brake, passenger mirror, student driver signs, etc.) that don't come in standard cars.
Do you offer payment plans?
The entire payment is due upfront for all drive times. For the classroom, a minimum deposit of $100 is required before the student attends class.
What if I forgot my username or password?
You can reset your username or password on our website by clicking the "Forgot your Username or Password?" link on the login page.
What payment methods do you accept?

How do you handle bad weather?
We take the safety of our students and instructors very seriously. For behind-the-wheel lessons, when conditions are poor or expected to be poor (such as snow, extreme cold, or other severe weather conditions), we are more likely to cancel scheduled driving lessons. We do not want to put students or our instructors in harm's way. We will send notifications as early as possible, although it is unlikely to be more than 24 hours in advance. You can expect the instructor to be in touch as soon as a determination is made.
For in-person classes, if conditions are too dangerous for driving, in-person classes will be canceled. Please contact your instructor about getting the link for the online class if it is being held.
Can I bring an interpreter?
Yes, absolutley.
Will I have other students in the car with me?
Yes, however, there may be another student in the car getting dropped off or a ride-along with an instructor trainee.
Driver Ed Class
Do I need a permit to start classes?
No permit is required to take the driver's ed class.
Do I need a permit to start behind the wheel training?
Yes, a class D permit is required.
How old do I need to be to start driver's ed?
You must be at least 14 years and 10 months old by the first day of the driver's ed class.
At what age can I get the permit and license?
Minnesota allows teens to take the permit test at age 15 and the driver's license test at age 16.
How do the classes work?
Students can complete the classes ten days in a row or pick the dates convenient for their schedule. To successfully complete the class program, students must complete each of the ten modules.
Can I register in person?
Yes, absolutely.
When can I start classroom?
Students can start our program on any class day.
For in-person classes: Arrive 15 minutes early on your first day of class to enroll. Bring a notebook, highlighter, and a pen or pencil to write with. No appointment or preregistration required.
For online/homeschool classes: The open enrollment schedule is Monday through Thursday, 11:30 am-12:30 pm or 3:30 pm-4:30 pm at either location. No appointment or preregistration required. Parent/guardian and teen must attend enrollment.
How long does it take to complete driver's ed?
Minnesota requires thirty hours of classroom training to get the permit. There are ten classes, each three hours long, that can be completed in any order.
Are the classes online or in-person? Can I alternate online and in person?
Online and in-person classes are available.
Students can also do a combination of online and in-person classes.The key component to this is knowing you will be doing both in advance. Students that do the online program must have the books. Bookwork should be done before class and is due after lecture for all online students.
Behind-the-Wheel
What will I learn during my behind-the-wheel lessons?
You will learn and practice everything needed to take your driver's exam for your license. Our experienced instructors follow a structured in-car lesson plan focusing on defensive driving.
Can I request to have lessons with a friend?
All drives will be conducted one-on-one; occasionally, a student will be in the car to drop off or pick up.
How fast can I complete behind-the-wheel lessons?
This depends on your scheduling flexibility and instructor availability. Each appointment is two hours long.
Do I need to have my own car insurance for behind-the-wheel?
No, you are covered under our commercial insurance during all behind-the-wheel training.
Are your instructors licensed?
Yes, each of our instructors is licensed by the state to teach classroom and behind-the-wheel training to all age groups.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my driving lesson?
Should you need to reschedule a lesson, you may do so by logging into your account on our website. You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $60 late cancellation fee.
Will I have the same instructor for every lesson?
Our scheduling software lets you see all available driving lessons and who is teaching them. You may choose the same instructor for each lesson if they are open or try a different instructor.

When can I start the behind-the-wheel lessons?
You can start driving lessons anytime with a valid learner permit or driver's license. You can schedule driving lessons on our website once registered and paid in full. If you are under 18, you must complete the driver's ed class before starting behind-the-wheel lessons.
Do you offer home pick-up and drop-off?
Available for $5 plus $1 per mile each way. Our service area includes the cities of Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Chrystal, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Fridley, Ham Lake, Maple Grove, New Hope, Osseo, Plymouth, Ramsey, and Robbinsdale.
How do I schedule a behind-the-wheel lesson?
Log in to your student account on our website. Choose an available time and your preferred instructor.
Can we bring our own vehicle for the lesson?
The State of Minnesota requires that we use our specially eqiupted vehicle for safety reasons.
